Why Living by the Ocean, it’s a Natural Way of Healing?

4 am. Summer days. The alarm wakes me up. It’s time to get dressed, get in my car and drive to the beach. I am only 5 minutes away. There is something magic waiting on me: an endless ocean embracing me with his sturdy waves. Beyond the horizons, a red fire is coming up: a fascinating sunrise happening right in front of my eyes.

I am such a fortunate person. I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of sunrises.

I live in Myrtle Beach, SC for many years and going on the beach very early in the morning when the sun is about to raise, is just a part of my morning routines at least once a week. It’s the place where I  go for empowering myself.

Connecting to the ocean it heals me from head to toe. It helps me find balance and gain positive thinking. It helps me to recharge with positive energy and to feel ready for any future challenges as the day goes on.

What role does the beach and ocean play in your healing?

I want to share with you below a few reasons why you should reach the ocean any time you can and remain in silence and stay true to yourself for a few moments of recovery.

There are two ways of healing you’ll achieve: emotional and physical.

The healing power of the color blue…

Some studies have demonstrated that the color blue has positive effects on the mind, body, and soul. Just simply watching the blue color of the sky and ocean is a natural way of calming your spirit.

We all know that blue is a cold color, and we use it the expression of feeling blue sometimes, when we aren’t in a good mood or feeling sad about something.

But when it comes to the ocean, just simply watching the endless blue can be a way of healing. The meaning of blue color is associated with faith, heaven, trust, self-confidence, inspiration, wisdom, stability.

Even if your home is far away from the coast you can cheat on your mind like you are living by and bring the energy of the ocean right in your house.

When I travel and I am away from the beach for a longer period of time I really miss it. But I found a method to feel close to the ocean even if I am miles away from it. It’s my favorite way to boost my wellbeing.

This is what I do, and it works well for me.

1. Fill up your tub with warm water.

2. Add Epsom salt, sea salt or any other minerals you like adding into the water.

3. Drip a few drops of your favorite organic natural essential oil.

4. Type on YouTube sound of ocean music and play it.

5. Sink into a thirty minutes bath.

6. Close your eyes and listen to the waves of the ocean.

7. Relax and breathe.

8. Imagine yourself near the ocean as your healing is about to begin.

9. Let your mind flow on the beach.

10. Connect to the endless blue of sky and ocean.

11. Be aware and thankful for the energy you are receiving in your body, mind, and spirit at that moment.
